                  Examples of Communicable Diseases:

Mono- Refers to a group of symptoms usually caused by the Epstein-Barr virus. Symptoms include fever, sore throat, fatigue, muscle weakness, etc.. There is no specific treatment but they are only used to calm down the symptoms. For example a doctor might prescribe corticosteroid medication for throat and tonsil to stop swelling. Mono is almost impossible to prevent but your body builds immunity to it by age 35. Up to 90% of American adults get mono by age 40.

Chlamydia- A bacterial infection that is spread through sexual contact with an infected person.Symptoms are vaginal discharge, bleeding between periods, painful urination, and stomach pains. This disease can be easily cured by antibiotics. Try to make sure your partner is not infected and if they do not know then do not have have any kind of sex with them. Also take frequent tests to make sure you are STD free. Chlamydia is one of the most common STDs that people get.
